The aim is to have Intouch patient information services such as Patient Choice, PHIS and PIMS, available at the fingertips of health professionals to support their work with patients.

Accessing the service online at their PCs, patient-facing staff can show text and diagrams to patients during a discussion and then print out health information factsheets for patients to take away. This is greatly welcomed by patients who don’t always recall what is said to them, who may want to read information in a calmer moment, and who may want to share information with relatives and friends.
