Liverpool Women’s to showcase patient experience transformation in Middle EastAugust 22, 2017
Liverpool Women’s NHS Foundation Trust will showcase how the introduction of self-service technology to patients and clinicians in its outpatient settings has improved patient experience and delivered financial savings at the 1st GCC Patient Experience Summit in Abu Dhabi in September.
The Trust’s Director of Turnaround and Transformation, Jonathan Lofthouse, will address delegates as part of a two day summit focused on key digital healthcare topics in the Middle East, including patient engagement and education, care technology and innovation, and tools and metrics to measure patient experience.
Liverpool Women’s hospital deployed self-service check-in kiosks and electronic outcome forms from patient flow management specialist Intouch with Health in 2016.
Mr Lofthouse said:
“The summit is a great platform for the Trust to demonstrate to senior healthcare professionals from across the Middle East how our investment in digital innovation has transformed the patient experience at Liverpool Women’s Hospital.
“As well as showcasing the Trust’s forward-thinking approach to innovation, we hope to demonstrate that, with the correct technology, patient and staff experience can be improved and clinical process delays can be significantly reduced.”
The 1st GCC Patient Experience Conference takes place at the Dhusit Thani Hotal, Abu Dhabi on 18 and 19 September.
