Dumfries and Galloway go-live

Another hospital site goes live with Intouch with Health patient flow solutions. Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary is the main hospital in Dumfries. The hospital serves both the town of Dumfries and the entire catchment area of South West Scotland, with a population of at least 147,000.

The Royal Infirmary is the principal secondary care referral centre for the region and provides medical and surgical care notably within the fields of accident and emergency, paediatric, ENT (Ear, Nose and Throat), Intensive Care and obstetrics and gynaecology.

This is the first phase of the Project in preparation for a move to the new Hospital on the other side of Dumfries. The new hospital is opening on December 11th, 2017, further extending the Intouch Suite of solutions and services.

We have already had positive feedback from patients, hospital staff and paramedics who have been using the system.
