Plymouth team shortlisted for Building Better Healthcare Award

University Hospitals Plymouth NHS Trust has been shortlisted for a Building Better Healthcare award for the delivery of an innovative system which electronically records the results of a patient appointment. This system has been designed with product supplier, InTouch with Health.

Over a two-year period, Intouch worked alongside the Trust implementation team to design an electronic outcome (eOutcome) form. This form enables clinicians to record the outcome of a patient appointment using a digital form on their computer, eliminating the use of paper forms and improving both the efficiency and accuracy of information fed back to the Trust’s patient administration system.
